I have been trying to get friends to take care of them, but so far no one wants to take on the responsibility. I have no problems when it comes to taking care of my cat or two birds, but with my gliders, it's always a problem. We haven't made definate plans yet, but if we're only going for a few days or a long weekend, I usually take them with us. I know I can get a sitter in the phone book, but when it comes to my animals, I want it to be someone they know and who knows what they're doing.I have discussed the possibility with my vet and if it does happen, he has agreed to make room for their 5 ft cage, so at least they will have all of their things there, but I'm still looking at options..

: Donna,
: Can you find someone (Pet sitter) to come to your home? This is what I do when I go on vacation. I feel that to leave them somewhere where they are not used to will cause them way to much stress. The different smells & noises alone will upset them as well as possibly different people feeding them. They are much safer at home away from other animals, bacteria, diseases, strange noises, people, etc! (Just my opinion)
