Depending on the guage of the wire mesh, make sure you get some really heavy-duty tin snips to cut it or your hands will not be happy. You also need a gun for the hot glue.

When I looked at those plans, I couldn't make out exactly how the trim gets put around the opening -- do you just put it on one side? Which one? I also couldn't find plastic trim, so I got vinyl, and got enough for BOTH sides (inside and outside) of the opening and BOTH sides of the door. If anyone can clear up the function of this trim and how to mount it, I'd love to hear it.
