Kirsten and Brent, hehehe.. okay.. the neutering would have no effect on the sleep pattern, however they do have a tendancy to adjust to your schedule, if in the past you were waking him during the day, for lickys and playtime, then he may have adjusted to that, temp changes also could have something to do with it. Much like a woman going through menapause, the hot and cold flashes, while his hormones are getting out of his system. I have a glider now that we just got neutered, and he also likes to get up once in a while during the day, but he isn't in a brightly lit room either. It could be his hormones , only a couple of more weeks left to be sure.. But i haven't heard of others that are doing the same thing.. more than likely it is enviromental, meaning he is adjusting to your schedule.
