Hi, I made a post a few days ago about getting a new friend for Casey. Yesterday I went to the pet store where I was going to get her and they said that I needed to wait until he was a year old and then after I got her I would need to wait another year before I could introduce them. By then Casey would be two years old. Would he be too use to being alone? Also, Is what the pet store told me true?

I have two more questions. I just got Casey two new toys one was a purple fluffy cat toy, which he chewed on and turned his nose blue. Should I give it back to him? Will it hurt him? And I got him a pink bird toy. He ripped the eyes off of it the first night that I put it in his cage.
Dose this mean he does not like it?
