Yeah, well, this is a pretty nice store, as far as that goes. They don't have a need to get rid of sugars (they have a waiting list), and they WOULDN'T feed them to the snakes if they did! : ) Even when they have a "problem" sugar glider, that glider just ends up being put back into the colony as a breeder or handled by store employees until it is ready to make someone a nice pet. Besides, the guy who owns the store (and knows his snakes!) says that the snakes wouldn't eat the sugar gliders anyway, it is not their natural prey. And yeah, the bunnies are a little sad when you know what they are for, but at the same time some do go home as pets, and the only time I have ever seen them feed one to the snakes was afte they had one die during buisness hours.

The people who own this store basically started it because they needed more space to keep their hobby and it became a buisness. Sugar Glides are the ONLY mammals they sell (well, as pets anyway) because they are the only ones that the owners like as pets, do you blame them? So, I guess it's the kinda store that if you aren't into the "food chain", with the reptiles and stuff, you prolly wouldn't be going into anyway.

That is absolutley AWFUL that that pet store fed the rejected puppies to the snakes!! I really can't have respect for people like that!! Were these pedigree puppies? That is the kinda pet store that outta be reported to the ASPCA!!
