Here are some answers to your questions.

1. oop means out of pouch
2. Sometimes when there is a female who is sexually mature the smell can get bad but for the most part the smell is tolerable.
3. I have heard and read that once you get the male neutered that the smell is not bad at all
4. I have heard of people training the glider to pee in one place but it is not usual expect them to pee and poop on you any time they want.
5. A good age is 8 weeks out of pouch but any age is good.
6. I don't know how flying squirrels bond but yes gliders do bond and it can be a very strong bond.
7. You can put a leash on a glider it is not recommended to do it because it destroys the trust between you and your glider.
8. Once your glider is bonded to you. You can take them everywhere in a pouch or in your bra.

I hope this helps if any of these things bother you a sugar glider might not be the best pet to get there is a web page that Bourbon made if you read it it may help you decide. I am sure someone here will give you the address as I don't have it.
