Charlie was my first SG - you should be able to read about his demise on Real Stories (right,Bourbon :-)) He was an impulse buy. When I lost him I wanted to replace him so I got Charlie Brown, not realizing they would be NOTHING alike. Charlie Brown turned out to be very independent, however, he is very loving. I wanted him to have a mate so I got Lucy. She definitely has an attitude and it took about 1 yr to gain her trust. Linus - what can I say about good ole laid-back Linus. Charlie Brown turned out to be a good "mater" for Lucy, however, he is very abussive to her once that process is complete to the point he has to be separated from her. Ergo, good ole laid=back Linus had been surrogate father to Lucy's joeys with great success. Patty was one of our joeys I just didn't have to heart to part with and when I finally did, the person who bought her brought her back within a week - guess he hadn't really done all the research he promised he had!
Now we have Woodstock, who is 3 weeks oop and doing his ultimate best to win my heart, which by the way he has managed to do. Parting with him is really going to be extremely difficult, but we are maxed out at this time with gliders.
Sorry the 1st part turned into one paragraph. Sorta forgot the spacing.
Learning about these wonderful creatures is a never-ending process - they are definitely the hardest pets I have ever had to feed. Mine are really picky eaters and they make variety a nightly challenge. But, we love them anyway.
