Ask B about my last cage- It is pretty cool. Five gliders with four wodent wheels, 4 shelves and 2 4 foot perches. They have a ball whether or not they get out. The only trouble is I spend about 30 mins each morning just watching them play.
: You are right, 3 feet tall isn't huge, it is slightly more than adequate, but definitely not huge. I always encourage people to get the biggest possible cage. And we usually wind up making custom cages because most people want a really large cage for their babies. The only problem with 3 feet high is where in the room it fits. Some will go with 2 feet high and 4 or 5 feet long so it fits their shelves better. Full size doors do make it easier to have deeper cages and really large cages should either have a full size door or several smaller doors for easy access.
