Have you tried to play with your female with a string like you would a cat? It is too cute. Mine grab at it and chew on it just like a kitten would.

: : I have a baby girl that does that too. She bites and chews everything. My fingers included. It was adviced to me by someone on this board that when they bite say "No". Non of her bites are in a malicious manner, she just thinks it is food I'm guessing. As far as the other problem you have, I'll leave that one to someone else to answer.

: : : I have a female that I got about 6-8weeks ago.
: : : She has stopped gurgling when we come into the room and put our hand into her cage. I started putting honey on my finger for her a treat. Two nights ago she started gnawing and biting my hand and finger. She holds on to my finger with her hands and seemed to get a little more aggressive the longer I let her do it. She wasn't gurgling when she was doing this. Was she playing? Is this common? Have I created a honey mad glider?
: : : Also she will set in my hand as long as I keep it in her cage. If I go to take my hand out she grabs the cage and won't let go. I don't want to forc her out. I do take her out when she is in her pouch with no problems.

: Mine does this too infact shes sitting on my key board right now trying to do it.. LOL she reminds me of how a cat plays if you ever had an agressive male cat like most male cats are, sometimes when u pet them they kind of nibble on your hand .. but it isnt real hard and they dont hiss first like theyre mad.. My glider doest the same when i pet her she does that then she lets me pet her again and its repetitive.. or if we are playing she likes to chase my hands so i tickle her tummy and pull them back so she cant get them.. its fun for hours.. try it LOL
: Keeps us entertained!!
: as long as the biting isnt too hard.. thats when u have to say no.
