: Citronella is toxic, that's why you aren't supposed to burn the candles in your home. Sorry I can't help with the plants, but I kill plants too quickly for them to get bugs :-)

: : I have a couple of plants that I just found have bugs in them. Even though my Gliders don't get in them I really didn't want to use poisons on them. If nessisary, I can remove the plants, and put them in a room that is not accessible to my babies. Some one made the suggestion to me to use one of those bug candles, like a citranela candle. (SP) They told me to put it next to the plant, and it might get rid of the bugs, and the smell would probably linger long enough on the plant to keep them away. My worry was weather it would hurt my babies. Does anyone know if citranela is toxic to Gliders? Thanks for the help.

LOL LOL I have a terrible black thumb. My fiance brought me home a Clover plant, and said "There, you can't possibly kill that!" LOL I've actually been able to keep him alive, and now he has these bugs. (The plant's name is Al, by the way) So, I just have to save him. LOL We just removed the plant, and poisoned it. I'll just have to keep it in another room away from my babies. Thanks for the info. though
