: You know what I find ironic.
: RIGHT after this thread began with the 1st message,
: I noticed Not 1, Not 2, No, Not even 3. But 4!!!
: 4 NEW posts either giving away or selling gliders!!
: There is a major heatwave happening here!!
: They probably aren't all people who can't take care of them in fact I think 2 or 3 of them are joeys. In a way its good for someone looking to buy. However for the unwanteds, it does bother me too. Its really sad to think.. who will care for them now? Will there be someone?? And what happens if the owner cant find someone " in time" ? WHat then? =[
: Sometimes I wish I had a big farm so i could just take them all in. But maybe if we just urge people to get educated before buying one, then it might atleast slow down because I know impulse buying won't stop. Anyone have any good suggestions?

nueter your pets. encourage owners to stop breeding just to see what its like and just love the pets you have. everyone that can open their home to unwanted gliders should make themselves known and post it repeatedly. make a database of these people, call it glider rescuers or shelters, and when you see these posts, let the posters know of the rescuer nearest them. these rescuers should automatically nueter every male that comes in before allowing it to be adopted. considering 20,000 cats and dogs are euthanized every 24 hours in the USA because no one wants them anymore(add that up for a year. its sickening), i dont have much pity for the few unwanted gliders that usually quickly find new homes. and first and foremost, education. every glider sold by anyone needs Janes downsides sheet or something like it given to the new owner. and breeders should charge alot, keep the prices high. people tend to value what they pay for.
