: I'm going on vacation soon, and I was wondering what the best way to handle my gliders would be, since I can't take them with me.

: WOuld it be better to give them to a friend to tke care of, or leave them at home, where they (I have 2) would be more familiar with the surroundings and have a friend come over to feed them.

In the past, I've always been lucky enough to have friends that were "animal people". I've had a couple of different people that have looked after Groucho in my own home for me when I've gone on vacation and business travel. I've been lucky enough that my friends feel comfortable enough to play with my glider and give him attention while I'm gone. It's not quite like when I'm here, but I know that he will be well taken care of. No matter what, he's always ready to see me when I get back.
