Anyone that needs cage and toys is probably going to be a new sugare glider person. New owners want babies...meaning 8 weeks old. That glider has had 10 months of life to go by. The longer a glider goes wiothout human contact the harder they are to tame. You say you don't have enouh time for him, which may mean that you don't hold hgim and paly with him everyday. Also when new owners look into proce they are likly going to see babies for sell for 150 or 200 dollars, most adults do not go for more than 100 or so. Everyone seems to want banbies...so your price is not good for people looking for a glider.

Then you have glider owners that would not mind the age of your glider. I know that bonding is a time issue, and that it is harder with adults, than it is babies, but I don't mind spending the time. But your proce is way too high for a glider owner. Most owners already have a cage and toys.....My boyfriend makes our cages. The materials were $200...so far he has made one cage bigger than the one you lusted, and one a little smaller. He has plenty of material left to make a couple more cages. Toys don't cost much at all. I make some of my own toys, and so do many other people. I spend 12 bucks on a woodent wheel, and other than that I just bought a bunch of rope and wooden boards. So I don't need the cage or toys. Most people with gliders won't need these things, so why would they pay for them?

I would pay 150 for a baby, and at most my big cage costs 125 a piece. So for a baby and cage I would pay 275, and thats if your cage was as big as mine, and its not. So well I don't think your price really apeals to anyone. Someone that is very new to sugar gliders and in a hurry may by from you, but most anyone can find a better price than that. My glider plus all I have spent on him is well over 500 dollars, but I know no one would ever pay that ammount for him. I would just have to cut my losses and try and find him a good home. Finding a good home for me would eb more importiant, and if I found a good home I would sell him for very little. I would give him away rather than sell him to a home I was unsure of.

Yous is 10 months old, still a baby...but most consider them to be adults at 12 months. Yours is very close to that age, so people wouldn't have a baby for very long. Normally when people say baby they mean a few months old...most would actually call yours a young adult.

I understand you pit alot of money into your glider, but I'm afraid you will have no luck at this price. Maybe you will, you can keep posting, but if you are in a real hurry I would drop the price. It can always happen...I see them in my local paper for ton of money, but I never see them sell for a lot online. Good luck. Look at soem of the gliders for sell and see what people are actually willing to pay for them.
