Here is a web site that might help. http://www.angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider/tips/intros.aspl

: Hi!

: I just obtained a female joey - I think the breeder said she is 4 1/2 weeks OOP - is this too early to ween her? My question is: I have an older female named Selfie who is about 8 months OOP and she is HUGE. I've introduced the joey to Selfie and I'm unsure what Selfie's reaction to her is. When I introduced them, Selfie sniffed her, grabbed her fur, may have nibbled on her ear, and I'm not sure but she may have bitten the joey. I'm afraid of leaving the joey in Selfie's cage unsupervised - am I just being paranoid or I am justified in taking some precautions before letting them live together? So far, I'm keeping the joey in a temporary wire cage above Selfie's cage so that they may get used to each other. Does anyone have any advice about what to do? I haven't been able to find any posts regarding introducing same sex females.

: Thanks,
: Jei
