Phosphorus is only dangerious if you do not give enough calcium with it...you must get the ratio right. Foods high in phosporus do not have to be fed only as treats, if you feed the right ammount of calcium with them. However sticking to the ratio is hard to do, so people that are unsure as to if they are giving too much would be safer not feeding the foods high in phosphorus often.
