In 5 years and several gliders, we have been to the vet twice. Both times it was for bite wounds/different gliders. I know someone who has had to take one of her pair in for treatment for a glider fight bite also.
Other than that, we haven't witnessed any other emergencies.

: How rarely do they get hurt or need to go to they vet as an emergency. I have researched for 3-5 years and am 14 years old. I have everthing prepared but my parents would not take me to a vet in the middle of the night. What can I do the vet is half an hour away and desperately want one and when i get my car I will not have to worry but till then i am woried and i desperately love them and tend to give my life to them and for the first few years while I still live there I am woried. I want to be a biologist and give my whole life to animals. What can I do.
