I cannot understand why breeders say to put them together and let the cards fall where they may. You're not the first person who has posted the same thing on this board.
Anyway, SEPARATE THEM IMMEDIATELY. Put her in a separate cage as close to his as you can possibly get it. Let them learn about each other without the fear of him hurting her.
They can have playtime together outside the cage where you can supervise until you feel they are ready to "live together" :-)
It really concerns mean about the size difference. He could easily hurt her seriously or even kill her when you are not at home if they are caged together.
Please let us know how they are doing.
