Just wanted to put this out there for the world to know. I am a musician in the Twin Cities area and have a band named after our favorite little creatures! Sometime ago, perhaps a year back, I happened upon a nature show on PBS that featured Sugargliders. I had never heard of these fascinating animals and I was dumb founded by such a beautiful and unique invention of nature. I was visiting my parents for Christmas soon after, when I mentioned the program on Sugargliders, and Mom, who is a kindergarten teacher lit up with excitement...her partner kindergarten teacher had just aquired a sugarglider of her own. Mom reports that she really loves this little guy and that it goes about with her, riding on her shoulder or clinging to her apron. Seems to be very affectionate...In the meantime, I had just begun a new music project (electronic/trip-hopish) and was inspired to name the band after the graceful creature!! Just wanted to pass it along, make it public and official and wish you all good luck with your little friends. I'd love to get one someday for my own...Take care and peace!
