: How large should a 3-4 month OOP Glider be? We purchased a pair from a breeder and I think they are a bit larger than their age would indicate. One is very friendly and one is very crabby. I am afraid one or both may not be the hand raised babies we were expecting.

Hi
I am not sure how big the gliders are supposed to be but Kessie is 10wks oop and I got her when she was 8wks oop ( out of pouch) but prior to when I got her the breeder let me come and play with her and the breeder held her alot and Kessie is a very crabby baby although she is getting better she was a hand raised baby if you are going by your babies crabbiness it doesn't necessarily mean that they are not hand raised. Here is an example you have two humans both were raised with manners yet when they are out on their own one uses manners and the other doesn't does that mean the one who doesn't use manners wasn't raised to use manners no it just means he just doesn't mind being rude. I am not saying your baby is rude but he is scared and it will take time to bond it could take a few days or a few years to bond with your babies. Kessie and I already have a good bond but that doesn't mean that if I get another baby that is 8wks oop it will be that easy to bond. I hoped I helped and didn't talk your ear off. If you need more help just ask.

April
