you made the right decision. Gail is a breeder, her gliders are not wild (that i know of) especially if it was a baby one. THAT is why i was so disappointed in what I saw. From what I heard, shes very reputable and her gliders are the " sweetest baby gliders blahblah.." but every single glider i saw her sell ( which was 2 in abou half an hour ) and a hedgehog..
were extremely crabby and were NOT happy campers..
My gliders didnt make one peep at that show so it wasnt the show that bothered em so much it was that they were exactly what you said WILD!!!
Now, I know another place in columbus u can get one from however I do not condone this place because they trio breed, meaning they stick two females and male in a cage and let them both have HIS offspring .. i hope they have those things marked so they know which ones are half brothers and sisters otherwise they could be inbreeding and not even know it!!
I personally would buy from someone who cant take care of theirs.. aka rescuing a glider. but thats just me, Petstores carry them sometimes but they are usually way over priced adn still just as wild.. it takes time to work with them and usually it depends on the glider.. You could also check newspapers and classifieds around here, just choose carefully remember like pockets said.. they shouldnt be THAT wild!! unless u WANT a taming experience.. hehe but if youre lookin for a baby thats tame.. i wouldnt recommend buying from petstores or reptile shows..
