Thank you very much. I am full of questions, I worry especially about how he was treated before I received him.
Another question I had was I read that you should continue the diet he was on when you recieved him and slowly change his diet. Unfortunately I did not read this before I took him home. The person that had him before me was only feeding him cat food. I have been giving him a variety of fruit (he especially likes golden delicious apple, no skin), modified leadbeater's mix, and he really enjoys crickets. I do have iams catfood in the cage but he doesnt touch it. Am I changing his diet to rapidly?
The other question I had was if I place chicken with apples baby food on my finger to lick wouldnt it encourage him to bite me. Ive tried to be very calm but he knows that I am very nervous.

: keep in your mind, that he is very very scared of you, and you want to earn his trust.. so everything you do must be at HIS pace till he learns you are the good guy.. licky treats are explained on that page nikki posted...it is important that you read that page, print it out if necessary...and remember this will take time and patience, but most of all love and understanding.. look into his eyes.. that is so important.. you can see his fear...
