: Gliders are marsupials not rodents. Now, I have other pets in the house - a rat and a ferret.
: They are NEVER out at the same time. The ferret is in another room, but when she is out playing in the house, she pays no attention to the SG cage. But I can't guarantee this will be the case with all ferrets.
: Nixon, the rat, is never out unless she is with me - either on me or playing on the couch or bed with me.
: I would NEVER let another pet out at the same time as gliders. I haven't had a problem, but all pets have their own personalities.
: Hope this helps a little.

Thanks i worded taht wrong.. i mean "other" as in like except gerbils and hamsters.. i guess i should have specified =) i correct people when they call my baby a rodent hehe.. I dont plan on getting a ferret but I was looking at some rabbits cuz i really want a Lop.. so u think it would be ok if i just keep them int he cage while either is out having playtime? this probly wont be hardsince rabbits are daytime and gliders are noctornal (SP?).. Thanks a bunch!!
