I personally don't think they can really be potty trained. You can put them on a paper towel when they first wake up, or make them play in the cage for 15 minutes before letting them out. However in most cases they will still go whenever and wherever they want. Both of my gliders, and esp the male marks me with urine,. They do this because they want me to smell like them, so others will know they own me. This is just part of owning gliders. Some can be very territorial and will jsut pee on you as much as they can because they love you.
