I don't know all the answers but i will help as best as i can. I'm not sure about vaccines. I suggest calling a vet that deals with gliders for that. Their life span is 12 to 15 years in captivity. Sugar Gliders should be kept at between 65.F and 75.F. This is very convenient because it is the room temp. range commonly found in most homes. I'm not sure about the different woods. I would recommend buying a book about them. They are very helpful and answers must questions.
Good Luck,
Kristin
