DearAuraya,
I too have a somewhat picky glider, he also doesn't care for mealworms, My best advice to you is keep trying new things. My glider will really eat up a new food once in a while then lose interest the next time. I am always surprised by the things he likes. An example is avocados, I really didn't expect him to like them but he did, and cooked white rice. My glider likes all melon, in fact he prefers juicy watermelon
to almost anything. Another food my glider loves is applesauce(unsweetened) or when I don't have any other good fresh foods I give him either chunky lite mixed fruits(pears & peaches) cut up, or frozen peas and corn. He really likes corn! My glider was started on babyfood when I got him, so occassionally I will give him babyfood. Usually the fruit and meat mix for protein. You said your glider likes to potty on you, well I think that is pretty normal. My glider has always done this. Especially if I take him out to play right after waking up. Now I wait til hes a bit more awake and hes less likely to potty on me. My glider, Petri, makes a game out of going #2, if he is out of his cage and has to go, he will jump into the cage and go to the highest perch in the cage and play bombs-away! Also, he will pee on me if he is mad at me, or if I haven't played in a couple days. Good luck with your new pet!
Audrey
