You should call the airline first! I wanted to fly home for christmas, just across the state and was told that it is illegal to take gliders on airplanes
because they are exotic animals. The only animals that are allowed are cats, dogs, and some birds, and (I think)rabbits. I cheated though, by putting my gilder
in a waist pack, while he was sleeping (make sure it's ventilated), and spoiling him with sunflower seeds. He did fine, but it was only an hour flight. If the
customs/bag check people see your pack, they will ask to xray it. My boy was asleep, so he probably looked like a toy. Since you are going to Europe, it's possible you will be flying during a time while
your pet wants to play, because it's time to be up. I would hate to imagine chasing a playful glider in a 747! I've read stuff on the web saying that moving gliders
is bad, but I did my best to make him comfortable when I drive home (4 hour drive). Besides, my mother immediately takes him and spoils him worse than I do. He hasn't shown any adverse
