Why not use PVC for support, and then just buy a few branches
for your gliders to chew on? I have a home-made cage and
my husband and I made the entire frame out of PVC, and also
4 perches out of PVC. We are fortunate to live in a state with
alot of euculyptus trees, so I just go out and cut a big branch
once a month and hang it inside the cage with a big cable tie.
The gliders perch both on the branches and perches. Also,
because the branches are not a permanent fixture, the cage
is easy to clean and is generally without urine smell.
