: : : I have 2 babies ordered and they are ready to be shipped from Cobleskill, NY to PA. I am worried about the weather.
: : : He plans to ship them overnight, but what about the weather overnight? I don't know if they can stand the temperatures, even if it warms up a great deal!

: : : What do you think? Have any of you had your gliders shipped to you in cold weather?
: : : I sure don't want something to happen to them.

: : This must be a mistake. Overnight them? The breeder I bought from shipped them from Texas to Ohio on an airplane and i got them in just hours. I do not think overnighting them sounds good.
: : It may mean the breeder must be at the airport at 5 am (as mine was) but it made sure they would not be stranded in a warehouse over night.
: : Best of luck

I had my glider shipped from Texas to St.Martin and I got him on the sameday. They don't do well in overnights in a warehouse and the lady whom sent me mine specifically got a route where he wouldn't have to be overnight.
She too was in the airport at the crack of dawn but she wanted the little fellow to remain safe.
There is always a way to do it you just have to take the time and look.
Good luck.
: How much did it cost you to have them shipped to Ohio?
