I was just wondering... If I do get this flying squirrel (whos name wil be Zepplin) I would want nothing else than just to let him run free in the house. But this causes two concerns...

concern #1: that my flighty companion will decide to run off someplace, which would do more harm than good

Concern #2: do squirrels, as hamsters do, choose one little "outhouse" in a corner somewhere, or would he leave little fragrant presents everywhere if I let him loose?

well, thank you everyone in advance if you decide to answer this. I certainly hope Im old enough to bear the responsibility of a mammal that needs me to live..
