Julie-
It may take longer than a month to get your glider to bond to you. My first glider wasn't tame, but she's been with me from November, and has come around nicely. Keep playing with him/her, bribing it with treats, etc. Also, get a zippered bonding pouch, and carry your glider in it for short periods to begin with, stroking it through the cloth and talking to it . Once it becomes familiar with your scent and realizes you want to be it's friend, and pose no threat ( unless your friend accidentally or intentionally mistreated it) it should come around in it's own good time. Each glider is an individual ! Good luck with your furry baby, and if you would like more good bonding tips, surf through GliderNet, which has some wonderful links that provide a lot of info on bonding and the like .
Above all, persistence is the key! Good luck with your furry baby :) !
