Tiffany We are saying the same thing as you are, We were just saying that the info is needed here, but to ALSO have it in a place where It can be quickly referenced to.. How many times have you tried to look for info that was posted here, specific info. and it took several hours to find? Thats what were were suggesting with the web page.. NOTHING more NOTHING less. If the message base can't handle peoples concerns and worries, and this happens to be one of ours. Then, why say anything to anyone inless it is pure fact. These are valid concerns. Too many people are on the defensive.. To be honest I don't care if anyone agrees with me or not, That isn't the issue, The original issue has already been blown WAY out of proportion anyway.. As happens to alot of important issues here. Folks stand on the defensive and see how much will get accomplished. Tiff I have thought about how many gliders lives might be saved.. IF the info could be found when needed. I have dedicated most of my time ,not only to my own gliders, but to many others and their owners as well. I Too am interested in Info, My days are spending researching every day. But it seems more important to jump on the defensive and say "okay forget it" and try to lay hguilt trips . than it does trying to find solutiuons to [possible problems.. At least WE were supplying ideas towards solutions. But as MANY times before.. the whole intention is twisted and turned around. People wear seat belts for prevention. They were based and facts that accidents do and will happen. We base our beliefs on the exact same thing. Why not look for ways to prevent problems that may and will happen. The problem I have found is that a lot of people don't see past their own backyard. Tell me you don't see where having the info on another permanant place AS well as here, wouldn't help someone find it quickly and easily. Tell me that the message bases don't get info buried so deep you can't find it. Tell me that people WILL not take certain info and misdiagnose their own glider? There is a solution, all we have to do is work together to find one that will help ALL the masses. I have nothing to gain or lose here. I have nothing invested in what I suggest. I have already said it isn't a matter of not wanting someone to post, that is a defensive stance to take. Lets find something that will work for ALL. Thats what this base should be about, HELPING each other. Working together to find solutions.
