I believe it is actually the inside of their eyes that have the whitish color. I have a female that I purchased who was on a 75% artichoke diet! argh!
...and all of my research (with the help of my vet) concluded that it was another direct consequence of a poor diet, high in fat.

I changed her diet and she now gets minimal fat & additional/substituted yummies... Though her eyes are still white and I havent noticed them getting any better, they have not gotten any worse...

and all of her offspring are healthy and show no signs... therefore I do not think it is hereditary. (?)

any additional info. would be greatly appreciated!
