: I was just wondering where you live. Is it really cold? I think I heard somewhere that if it is cold that gliders might restrict their activities a bit. True? False? I'd like to know! Thanks!

M,
That is true, when the tempatures drop, the gliders adjust their metabolism, to accomadate them. However; when we are talking about the temp ranges we are talking between 60 and 85 degrees, When they are in lower tempatures, they reduce their activity to conserve their own body heat, hence, this also make them sleep more. Funny but I guess that could also account for breeding temps as well.. If they are sleeping more they reduce their breeding activity as well..
