age is irrelevant. your new glider should have a fluffed out tail and be happy leaving its nest box by itself. It should also be eating solid food and drinking from a water bottle. If its not then its not ready to wean. all animals need to leave the nest at different stages and breeders should respect this.
: Hey, Bourborn! This is my concern as well. I'm about to get the baby girl, and the breeder says she will be ready at 4.5 weeks. I was planning on asking her to keep the sugar glider a little bit longer. My experince is not extensive; therefore, how do I tell the age of the girl?
