putting him on leadbeaters for awhile. It is fairly smooth and good for weaning. all he would have to do is lick. Crystal, I have read each of your posts, and please understand I am only saying this to help you bond with your glider. By chasing him around in his cage and chasing him around the room, it only causes him to be more afraid. Get a pouch andd hang it on the door of your cage. open that door often to do noting more than offer him treats, pet him etc.. Read the whole page on trust and bonding on Sugar Glider Info. and Please be consistant.. Work with him as often as you can for as long as you can. But DON'T try to hold him or catch him. Not yet anyway. I have seen so many people try to rush the bonding process only to have it take 5 times longer to earn that trust. A good rule of thumb is.. for every negative feeling your glider gets (being chased, held, forced to do things he don't want to do) It sets you back at least 3 days. Now multiply that times everyttime he has been scared of something you are doing..The link is below..
