Well, i just went through a battle trying to find a name so here are my ideas.... for girls i like jordan, ren, kates, chalka, meeko, and munki... for guys i like sky (or skyler), summitt, techno, kuzco (k-ew-s-c-o), neo, eko, mr. smooth, little d, and finally what i named my glider.. ringo.... hehe... hope i helped a little... love yas! wends and ringo

I used classic movie characters....like Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca and Mortimer and Elaine from Arsenic and Old Lace, Rhett and Scarlett from Gone With the Wind, Dill and Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird. I also have a pair Enyeto and Taima which are American Indian names. Cute thing to do is to do search for a baby namer on the net and use that. I think there is one at www.babynamer.com

Four people who got gliders from me named theirs Gizmo; of those, one named their female Gidget, the other Mini. My gliders are BeBop who likes running around, GG (Grouchy Girl); their firstborn was Jessica Joy (my pride and joy, the absolute love of my life) - she and Pudy Tat the fat cat had a firstborn named Jamie Joy. She's with Joey (Papa Joe) - they were my first pair to have firstborn twins---altho every pair I sold had twins the first go around. I kept the f Jenna Joy. Jenna also has an older brother still here (he was a twin too) and two younger twins sis's - Josie Joy and Jennifer Joy. Jenna is with Adam, the first born of Lena (Lena Grumpalena) and Rudy Toot Toot; then there's BooBoo who is an accident waiting to happen. Finally Pudy Tat is now with Lady - I lost my beloved Jessica Joy to hernia surgery. Lady just had two joeys OOP today - haven't looked to see what sex they are yet because she's pretty nervous.

My mom decided that she wanted to name MY lil baby "gizmo" because she sais that he looks like the little critter from "gremlins". Personally i think that the name is too common among gliders thus I decided on naming my little boy "Cort". My mom doesnt like it but thats ok because hes my baby an not hers and im the one who takes care of him, heh, it almost amusing because hes taken really well to me, to the point where i can pick him up at any time and he doesnt make all those scared noises that he wouldnt stop making when i first got him but as soon as my mom even gets near him he makes them, its kind of cute how he is selective of the people he lets around him but id like to break him of that habit because my mom really likes him too.

Mine are Zia and Wicket, umm I also have mice named Hansel and Grettle 
those are kinda cute names. I also like Winky (dont ask me why lol)
I also liketo use little cartoon names for pets like maisy, kipper, and blue..

My little Glider's name is Mala. It is an Australian aboriginal name, which I thought was appropriate since Sugar Gliders are native to Australia!

Meka, Keika, Sweetheart(or something with 'sweet' in it), Gidget, Frieda, as Wends said, Kuzco, are OK names for sugar gliders.

i have a glider named sticky, he likes to sleep in his food bowl. also, i try to stay with the whole sugar theme, suss (sweet in german) molly (molasses), and so on.

I went through the Australian cities for our baby - wanted to avoid the obvious Sydney, thought about Adelaide or Perth but ended up with Sydney. You might think about using an Aussie name though, just a thought!

My gliders names are CJ(cody junior), Monica, Zippy, Faith, Gabriel,Sugas, Nalla,Elmo. I think it would be cool to have pair names like Sugar and Spice, or Jack and Jill. I also like Velcro and Willow. hehehehe....its fun naming gliders:)

Bonzai fits him pretty well, kamakaze glider that he is,...also, for a female...miesha (lil sweetheart, my soon to be girl's name )Esa Masai (sweetheart in Tai) Kia, Chanyn (sweetheart in Gailic)....so I like the odd ones....lol. Good luck on the name search!

WE have dogs named Sugar and Spicey (for real) But my glider male is Hercules and his mate is Jasmine. Our first baby boy that survived we names Zeus. Then we had Zoey and then we had Daisy! We still have Zoey and she is such a sweet punkin! I have two that are still in and out of the pouch a girl and a boy! I am gonna name the girl Holly cause it is the name of a plant and it is Christmassy. I am still looking for the name for my little boy though..I want it kind of Seasonal..any suggestions? e-mail me!

Hi Gilbert Grape and Lilbit felt left out so I thought I should add them to your list, Lilbit almost got named Jelly Bean, but that was before I found out she was a girl....glad I went with Lilbit now......

All of my gliders seem to have attitudes so they are named to fit them, or they just grow to fit them! My boy's name is Spike and his mate is Countess, I am getting a new boy soon that I'm pretty sure I'm going to name Blixx(off of the movie "Legend") and when I get his mate I'm planning on naming her Damnia(I heard the name off of a Picasso biography). I was going to name Countess "Countess Damnia" but I just went with Countess, It fits her so much!

Names? Since most people, I believe, buy their Sugar Gliders in pairs (male/female), I personally prefer cartoon character (famous couples) ... Mickey & Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Popeye and Olive Oyl, Blondie & Dagwood, Fred & Wilma, Barney & Betty, Tweety & Sylvester, and so on ...

This is a name that sounds better on a boy (wonder why?) but it could be used for a girl depending on personality: Fuzzhead.
Here are weird ideas: Go through a list of names (for people) and go down, see what your finder lands on. Then chose a name like it. For example: Angela: Angel. Madeline: well, it sounds a little like the Australian city Adelaide (not much though), and shorten it to Addie.
Another cool thing to do sounds really weird but works. Go searching through scientific names. Take fragments and you may find something that works.
eg. Gulo, Eline, Pepla, Kana, and Quin are names I found with 2 searches, so their are better ones.
These are very weird ideas, but hey, might help!

Stormy & Shellby. I ended upo calling mine Kika, short for Kekaha which means Glide in Hawaiian.
