A joey should not be weaned before it is 8-10 weeks oop. This is not only for the health of the joey but also to give the joey enough time to learn from its parents how to be a glider. Joeys that are pulled before this age can have physical, sychological problems and it can also shorten their life span.

once again, wait untill it is at least 8 to 10 weeks oop. read the posts here by leslie, they show what can happen if you get one too young. also, make sure you research first.
