There are many diets out there and it is kind of confusing. Is a mix of diets ok? Namely (to be given daily):

Half of the recomened portion of Leadbeater
1/3 of a cup of four different types of fruit
One tablespoon of protien (tofu, ect.)
9 or so Pssicine pellets
And a sprinkling of RepCal

The diets that are listed have specific nutritional values. Bourbons diet, for example, has been researched by a bunch of trained peoples that have put a lot of their own time and effort into it and if you where to take and mix say three or four different diets you play with losing some vitamins here, and adding too much pottasium there, and calcium levels are greatly affected by pottasium levels,(I just realized I cant spell pottasium) In my opinion your best bet is to find one specific sound diet and stick with it.There are lots of opinions out there this one is only mine........
Wishing the best for you and your glider(s)

Please do use a diet that is balanced for the gliders and proven to be a complete diet. I have never seen this diet before..where did you get it?

There is a great diets page that lists several proven diets you can use:

I personally use the BML diet, as do many of us here. I can tel you that it has been balanced to mee all the nutritional needs of your gliders and that you can safely feed it knowing you are giving them a great diet. Please take a look at it:

Thanks! I have my head on straight. I am deciding Bourbons diet and another one.
Just a quick question. Would you be able to substitute some protien for another form of protien? Say, a cup of chicken for a cup of tofu? I don't plan on doing this (I'll follow the instructions carefully) but it would be nice to know, just in case.

This diet does not call for added protien..and you can not change the recipie at all. Also a cup or chicken and a cip of tofu woild not be the same ammoint of protien and would greatly throw the balance ofcourse.

I am very specific NOT to use my diet in conjunction with another. If you do you may be playing russian roulette with your gliders diet. The new BML page has been updated and is very specific.
