I want to find a good vet to take my male to to get him nuetered. I do know of one vet in town that deals with exotics, but the last time that i took my dog there I did
not leave there very satisfied with the service. So I decided to shop around and see if there is another vet in town or near by that deals with sugar gliders, the only
problem I have is that I really do not know what to ask to make sure that they are GOOD. I dont know of anyone that has gliders that has ever taken them to the vet.
I really want to make sure that I am comfortable with the vet I choose.

Does anyone have any good questions that I should ask. thanks

Chrissy, Scott Demanes is the vet at Demanes Animal Hosp. hours--7:30-6 & Sat 8-12. 3035 N. Wisconsin Ave.,Peoria, Il. Phone: 686-1383. He is a little expensive, but does glider neutering.
He's very caring and always trying to learn. I've used him for all my pets for the last 10 years. I think you would like him. He specializes in exotics, & birds.
;)

thanks for the info! I will have to check him out. Would you be able to tell me what he charges for nuetering, and for just an office vist I can put it on my list of comparisons, and then go talk to him next time I go to Peoria.

Are you willing to travel to Westchester?
It is pretty much by Chicago. This is my vet and they are the best!
They are Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital
E-mail me if you'd like their phone number and stuff.
Love April
