she might be eating them because she might feel as if she cannot care for them or she might be nervous about something. my hamster had babys once and i had to seperate her from her mate becaus she would eat them so the babys wouldnt be harmed and she felt as if they were in danger. how many are in the cage with her?

If the mother feels stressed out she may eat the babies. Also, many times when the mother isn't getting enough nutrition she eats the babies. What are you feeding her currently and are you sure she gets enough calcium in her diet because that is one of the factors a mother glier needs also because with a growing joey in her pouch it takes a lot of calcium out of her own body. Good luck and let us know the answer to what she eats and then maybe we could suggest something when we see what may be missing.
