i read about hlp. what are some signs i can look out for in case???? any one who can help me that would b great! wink

HLP symptoms include: lack of use of hind legs, in severe cases lack of use in both arms and legs, walking funny(compared to the way your glider normally walks), lethargy, not wanting to climb or walk, muscle spasms, seizures. HLP is usually diagnosed either with X-Rays that show the bone's density(they look see through with HLP) and then obviously if your glider isn't walking it can be diagnosed by a physical examination. HLP is easily avoidable with proper nutrition and calcium suppliments. These are the things I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are other signs as well. Hope this helps!
