Hello there. Ok, I have a problem. I just recently (last week) got a glider to replace my other one.
PEtrie was my first glider and she was not a happy one, so she had to be sent back to her breeder. I
am glad to report she is doing a little better now. Anyways, my breeder Terry, who is exetremely nice
and supportive said I could get another one. I went up there before I went away for 3 weeks and
picked out a sweet, tame glider. She just slept in my hand. Then, when I went to pick her up last
Thursday, she was not the same at all. She reminded me of Petrie. She jumped around and would not
stay calm. Needless to say, I brought her home and she hasn't improved. She bites all the time and is
very scared of me. Now, just to let you all know, it's not me, because my boyfriend Mike has a glider
that stays at my house that is a boy named Lulu and Lulu likes me just fine. So, I'm wondering what to
do. I"ve tried so many things and am looking for new suggestions. Terry has offered to give me another
one, a male this time, but I like ROxy, shes such a cutie and I dont want to give up yet. Please help in
any way you can. Thank you!

Have you tried to check out Bourbons bonding site?
Bourbon has a wonderful site that helps you to learn how to bond with these lil guys.
 http://www.angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider/bonding.html

Start here, but DO NOT keep giving them up, they are only scared. You need to keep one thing in
mind, they are very small, we are VERY big.
You need to give them time to adjust and feel comfortable.

Try offering her licky treats and just be patient.

They say GOOD things come to those WHO wait.

How old was she when you first held her?
Now keep in mind that you mentioned you held her in your hands, while she was sleeping, well she was
asleep and you did not seem as a giant to her.

Now your trying to hold her while she is awake.
She is scared and frightened, and it will take time.

Please read bourbons page and try her techniques, as well as if you have further questions, I bet
bourbon woul dbe happy to help you.

Post amessage to her here, with the subject of Bourbon I need help bonding or something along that
line, and I bet she would take a peek.
 Good Luck,
 Jacque
