Hi everyone, I know this is a sugarglider forum but didn't know where else to go. Does anyone have any experience with short tail opossums? I was wondering if they enjoy interacting with their owners or are they timid? Thanks for any responses,

a friend of mine has one..it is relativly aggressive but i personally tihnk its becaue she doesnt spend enough time with it...whenever i have picked it up it has never bitten me.but they like to bare their teeth...i have also read that they (unlike sugargliders) do not like to be housed with other opposums and fight a lot...but as i said hers seemed pretty ok, just make sure you spend time with him/her...they are pretty cute

well i have had some experience with them, never owned one though..and think they are pretty neat. The ones i handled weren't the tamest,but considering their situation (pet store) they were pretty sweet.
