I have a few questions...
Should you freeze the BML in cybes & feed 1 or 1/2 cubes every night + fruits & insects or do you thaw it out & then give a certain amount to them? Also, can you take fruit and/or veggies & just blend them (1 fruit or veggie per batch, no blending together) & freeze that or feed like that, will it still be healthy? Which is better, blended or whole? Also, some suggested just getting fruits or veggies from salad bars, is that ok? or do they have bad stuff on it? Please let me know- Angela

Angela, I'm sure there are a whole lot of ways of doing this, but in general, the fresher the better. I have come to enjoy fixing dinner for my gliders every night: I scoop out the BML frozen and put that in one dish. The second dish has another source of protein (may not need it but we were recently pregnant, and needed more) such as a quarter egg with shell, chicken, chicken bone, yogurt, or mealies. The third dish has 3-4 kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables. Something different each night. They also get live crickets either in a.m. or p.m. The only frozen veggies I've tried is mixed vegetables in a bag; they don't like em too much.

My dog enjoys the treats as I cut stuff up too! It is now a new ritual in my house.
