i have heard that cheese is bad and I have heard that its not, learn something new everyday huh?
that would make me mad to find out I was doing something that could hurt my babies too frown
I brought home some branches from a peach tree to put in my gliders cage because I was told ALL fruit tree branches are safe for gliders, so I go and arrange all these peach tree branchs in my gliders cage one morning while my gliders sleep. That same day I read that peach tree branches and all other pit fruit branches are toxic! frown Boy was I upset!!!!!! I was trying to be good to my babies and here I was about to make them sick! really mad me upset.. anyway I removed the branches that day they never came out while they where in there!! point is I know how you feel.

A while ago people tought cheese would be okay for gliders..but there have been lots of probes wth feeding it. Chese requres a lot of enymes to break itdown. Glders only produce enough enzymes to break down their own mothers milk. They donot need a lot of enzymes for that..so when fed cheese theydo nt have enough enzymes to break it down. When it doesn't get full broken down then it starts to build up causing constipation. It can aso make it hard for them to digest other food becaus it is blocking digestion. I am surprised that you haven't had a lot of constipation feeding cheese everynight. You have been lucky. This goes for any dairy product..but cheesee is specially harder to brek down.

Here is a website talking about all this:
