I rarely feed beef or pork to my glider because of the higher content of parasites found in them. It is safe to feed...but the parasites can be harmful. Chicken can have parasites but has a much much lower ammount. Manu humans live with parasites from beef and never know it becaue humans have a much larger body weight. We oftet blame it on the flu, bad food, eating too much, heartburn, stomache aches, etc. Gliders however can become very ill from parasites..so i ma vwery careful not to feed much beef or pork.

I have tried cooked hamburger before but my gliders don't like it. It was still there the next morning. With so many other options I stay away from beef and pork.
How about a big ole fat mealie raspberry

I wouldn't recommend it. There are many other better and safer sources of protein. smile
Also I have read on a few glider sites that meat should not be given to gliders (chicken seems to be an exception though). A nice fat cricket or mealie should do the trick ;)

Ive fed my gliders turkey burger with great success - but as a treat only... I just mix it kind of like I would a meatball - meat, egg & baby cereal (minus spices and breadcrumbs of course).
Fry in a pan with no butter or non-stick spray, cool and serve.

I know, it sounds really nasty... but then you'd be very surprise at whats been tossed into my blender! ;)
