I am curious, would borrowing a male work, or would it always be the manner, to let the male and female bond?????WOuld my other female get depressed if I seperated her from her sister, and kept her with the male./????I am beating many different ideas around...Would two sisters help each other raise their children, or would they always try to destroy the others joeys?????HELP HELP HELP.....I need lots of intput......My male willl soon be ready to breed, and he is already socializing with the females at play time.....We did not rush into anything, and we are not about to start.....We will have a ton of patience for these little ones..... wink wink wink ;)

I would not borrow a male for breeding purposes frown
The male is an extremely important part of the raising of joeys - he gives the mom a break when she needs one and also teaches them what is okay/or not to eat. Having a single female raise her joey/joeys by herself is too stressful and should be avoided when at all possible.
As for the question about sisters helping to raise each others joeys ... I honestly don't know the answer.
Perhaps someone who does will post.

I do know people have specificly tried having a tri with sisters. The sisters perfectly love each other but when one has a baby their instincs kick in. In most cases the other sister will eat the baby. Many people have had it happen. It is just a natural glider instinct. You can try this, but please realize it is stressful for the female to raise the baby alone..it is also stressful to have another glider eat your baby. Some females will even eat their own babies because they have the fear the other may attack. This is all very risky and could cause your female to get stressed. it is also possible that both females will get pregnant and you will have no one to help them raise the babies.
