hi...i had one glider for over a year and recently in august just got another one...both females...the first one took to the little one right away...and crawled and cuddled with her in a little pocket...but just lately she's been crabbing at her and i've seen her run after the little one and jumping at her...is she now jealous and or fighting for her territory....showing dominance...i hope she doesn't hurt the other one...i get up as soon as i hear them and talk to the one doing it...or holler her name and she stops...what's the problem...can anyone tell me? Will she hurt the little one? I've called the breeder and she said she would take her back if it keeps happening but i would like to keep her...any suggestions...the little one is very friendly...she comes right to me but is still shy...what should i do?they were fighting over a wheel and kept pulling each other off the one so i bought another one...same with the food dish...so now what

Would it be possible to put them in separate cages right next to each other for a while to see if they calm down any. It could be that now that the younger one is getting larger, your first glider is establishing her dominance.
On second thought, how long has this been going on? Could be it will end just as quickly as it began. The answers to these questions will enable us to help you better.

It does sound to me like she is definitely establishing the fact that she is the alpha female since it is an off and on occurance.
If this is the case, then separating them will not solve the problem. They will both calm down in separate cages, but when reintroduced it will start again.
Thinking as I type, I think that I might be inclined to separate them with cages right next to each other, even touching if possible. Leave them like that for a couple of weeks and then reintroduce.
Just make sure the younger one is not getting hurt whatever you decide to do.
