You need to inspect her face very close and if there is ANY doute at all take her to the vet ASAP! NEVER, let a glider play even in the same room as a lit candle or anything else that can hurt them!! When a glider is out it should be under constant supervision. Only you can keep your glider safe!! You MUST glider proof ALL play areas.

I read on one website that nocturnal animals use their whiskers to guide them through the dark. I will look for tht webpage...not sure if thats true...but if it is it could be harder for your glider...but they will live...it will just be hard for them to get around at first.

I know that's true with cats (they use whiskers to move around at night) they're like mini feelers I guess is what you could call them so I would guess it's the same with gliders. I know also cats whiskers will grow back too if they are burned or cut off (I had a little brother growing up that use to cut the cat's whiskers all the time!) So the gliders whiskers should grow back just as long as the glider didn't burn it's face it should be fine.

Cats use their whiskers for balance. One of my cats had their whiskers cut off by accident and boy did she act like she was drunk/disoriented. Everyone hit it on the nail, they will grow back. Just give your little one lots of love!!!
