As all of you probably know, I put off buying a wodent wheel for several years after owning gliders.
Well, we have had the second one for about two weeks now and it looks like I may have to bite the bullet and purchase third one. They all seem to want to run at the same time.
For the last several mornings I have found my three babies sound asleep IN THE WODENT WHEEL. smile
At first I thought that maybe their bed needed to be changed because they will move their sleeping place if they feel their bed is "dirty". Well, I checked their "Land o Lakes" bed and it is just fine.
I can only conclude that they want to be ready to run as soon as they wake up raspberry raspberry
For those of you who haven't gotten a wodent wheel yet, JUST DO IT. Your babies will love you for it.

I got mine a wheel and they wont even look at it. I was really excited about it but they were not. It sounds really cute though.

Star,
Leave the wheel in there and they will probably decide they like it. I had one glider who showed no interest at first, but after about a week, he decided that everyone else was having way too much fun.
He also happened to be my larges and least active glider. Now I have noticed he is more active and actually has lost some weight from all that "running around" wink

KarenE is right. It took my little girl a month before she would get into it and run. She would just get into it and sleep, then finally one day she discovered her purpose

Maybe your glider doesnt know what it is. Try leaving a treat in there at night so the glider will get in it.

How did you make a wheel? I have a wheel for my glider, it's not a whodent wheel but it is solid and safe (attaches to the side of the cage, nothing she can get her tail or feet caught in) she runs in it a lot but it's sort of small, she does run in it a lot though. How did you make a wheel?

The wodent wheel is the best thing since sliced bread winkGo to transoniq.com for description and order information.
I have two now. I received mine within about 4-5 days of ordering. Also I ordered the medium size one for my gliders.

Hi,
I got the wodent wheel for my baby right away, actually it was in there b4 she was! The first night she slept in it. But the 2nd night I put a treat in her pouch and now she sleeps in there.
So its a great toy!
I got mine at www.animalsexotique.com, cheap. And they ship free. They also have diff. sizes. But im sure that they sell them lots of places.
